What We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we request read-only access to your Gmail account. We import transactional emails (order confirmations, travel bookings, receipts, etc.) and process them into structured summaries called Smart Briefs. We do not import personal conversations or emails from personal domains.
How We Use Your Data
Your email data is used solely to generate Smart Briefs for your account. We use AI models to classify and extract key information from emails. We do not sell, share, or use your email content for advertising purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in encrypted databases hosted on Supabase infrastructure. Gmail OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to sync emails on your behalf. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Data Retention
During the beta period, your data is retained for the duration of your participation. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. When the beta ends, all data will be deleted unless you opt in to the full product.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Cubby:
- Google OAuth for authentication and Gmail API access
- Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure
- Vercel for application hosting
- AI model providers for email classification and extraction
Your Rights
You can revoke Cubby's access to your Gmail account at any time through your Google Account permissions. You can also request a full export or deletion of your data by emailing us.
